On 4 May 1986, the Tibur\u00f3n-1 (SA-51) midget submarine, donated by the Spanish Navy, arrived in Barcelona<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n

Although it arrived at the Port of Barcelona, it was transported by road. During a symbolic public ceremony held at Moll de la Fusta, it was officially renamed BARCELONA.<\/p>\n

Its first location was outside the Museum of Science, now CosmoCaixa, before being moved to its current location on a traffic island between Adri\u00e0 Margarit Street and Isaac Newton Street.<\/p>\n

To carry out this installation, we used a KRUPP KMK6200 crane (the company Krupp is now known as GROVE). It is a six-axle crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 200 tonnes.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
