Our Commitment

At Grúas Serrat, we have always believed in playing an active role in promoting sport as a way of bringing people together and encouraging social integration. ONAT Foundation embodies this philosophy by promoting sport as a driver of social inclusion and solidarity, with a particular focus on young people as the true force for change in building a more inclusive and supportive society for disadvantaged communities and people with physical and sensory disabilities.

Our contribution is focused on supporting the visibility of ONAT Foundation by sponsoring the various sporting events organised by the Foundation, such as the First Inclusive Everest Expedition, which took nine young people from APINDEP on a seven-day trek through one of the most spectacular regions of the Himalayas. The expedition formed part of the 3x2x8000 mountaineering challenge led by Sergi Mingote, whose goal was to achieve a new Guinness World Record by climbing six mountains over 8,000 metres within 365 days.

ONAT Foundation is a private, non-profit foundation whose mission is to promote and encourage the practice of sport and raise public awareness through the media. More specifically, and with a primary focus on young people, it aims to promote sport as a means of developing habits that encourage social inclusion and solidarity. It supports sport as a fundamental element of education, healthcare and quality of life; promotes the participation and full integration into society of disadvantaged groups and people with physical and sensory disabilities; and encourages active public participation in sport as a positive way to use leisure time in modern society and as a means of reducing social inequalities and promoting equal opportunities for all citizens.
